14 Year Old Boy Molests 9 Year Old Girl To Death In Ikorodu -

Unbelievable sad story of how
a teenage boy Molested a 9yr
old girl to death in the Ikorodu
area of Lagos
From Punch
The police in Lagos State have
commenced investigation into
how a nine-year-old girl died,
after sustaining injuries caused
by alleged consistent
molestation. According to
police authorities, the deceased
was Molested over five times,
by a 14-year-old student, Onyi
Adimabua, in the Ikorodu area
of the state.
The father of the deceased,
Simeon Jigo, toldPunch
Metrothat Onyi is the son of the
proprietor of the school his
daughter attended. He said his
daughter opened up about the
molestation when she started
having medical problems. The
77-year-old man said his
daughter died on October 3,
2013.
He said, “Up until my
daughter’s death, she was a
pupil of Fulfilled Greenland
School, Ikorodu, and she was in
primary three. One day, she
came home and started
complaining of pains around
her womanliness, stomach
area. We rushed her to Ikorodu
General Hospital.
“A doctor checked her and after
conducting some tests on her,
told us that my daughter had
sustained medical
complications due to forced
intimate intercourse. I was
alarmed by this; so, I had a
private discussion with my
daughter.
“She told me that it was her
school proprietor’s son, Onyi,
that had been Molesting her.
The boy had threatened to kill
her if she ever told anyone
about it.”
The indigene of Ondo State
toldPUNCH Metrothat after
initial treatments, he took his
daughter to Arogbo in Ondo
State to be taken care of but
her condition continued to
deteriorate.
A few days after the troubled
father travelled to Ondo State,
Onyi, accompanied by his
parents, also travelled to Ondo
State, to apologise to Jigo’s
family. The girl, however, was
said to have died that very
day.
“On getting to the house where
my daughter was, we
discovered that she was dead.
Onyi confessed that he had
been Molesting my daughter
prior to her death,’ Jigo said.
PUNCH Metrolearnt that after
the girl’s demise, irate youths
in the area attempted to lynch
the 14-year-old boy.
The bereaved father was said
to have intervened and reported
the matter to a nearby police
station, where the teenager
was held for safe keeping. The
next morning, Onyi and his
parents travelled back to
Lagos.
The alleged Molester’s parents,
in company with a chief in
Ikorodu, reportedly visited Jigo
when he returned to Lagos. The
group were said to have
pleaded that the bereaved
father should not pursue the
case but he refused.
Jigo said, “I went to the
Ikorodu Police station to report
the case but was surprised
when the policemen on duty
said I should not write any
statement. They only told me
to write down my telephone
number and said they would
call me later.
“After waiting for many days
without any call, I wrote a
petition and the matter was
transferred to the State Criminal
Investigation Department,
Yaba.”
It was however learnt that Onyi
had been taken to his father’s
hometown in Delta State
thereby stalling police
investigation.
The teenager’s parents,
however described the incident
as the handiwork of the devil.
The 14-year-old boy’s father,
Andrew Adimabua, said, “I
trained that boy in the way of
the Lord and expected so much
from him. He has confessed to
the act; there is nothing to hide.
He told me that he learnt about
sex by watching blue
(pornographic) films.
“We are not hiding him and we
will cooperate with the police.
On the day the little girl died, he
was beaten up and made to
stay in the rain for hours. As a
result, he contracted
pneumonia so we sent him
home for treatment. When he
recovers, he’ll be taken to the
police for questioning.”
Police Public Relations Officer,
Ngozi Braide, who confirmed
the incident to our
correspondent on the
telephone, expressed shock at
the development.
Braide said Onyi would be re-
arrested in the course of
investigation.
“It is appalling that a teenager
could indulge in such act. The
matter is under investigation
and the culprit will be re-
arrested.”

How A Choir Member Kidnap Church Member's Son For Money

The level some people go
these days just to make
free money, even in
church, is really
worrisome:
Israel Ekwuruibe is a
devout catholic who
attends church regularly.
Aside this, he was a
member of the choir at St.
Theresa Catholic Church,
Finima in Bonny, Rivers
State. On Sunday,
September 29, he went to
church and sat on the
choir pew, using his
baritone voice to sing
praises to God.
But deep within him that
day was a sinister plan...
A deadly plan that had
been conceived along with
five others to kidnap the
little son of a church
member for a ransom. As
soon as he sighted the
car of their target, Israel
made a sign to other
gang members who were
also within the church
building, pretending to be
genuine worshippers.
The other suspects are
Ifeanyi, who formed the
gang, Godswill Bernard,
Loveday Anakwuru,
Ogechi Nwosu (also a
church member) and
Odinaka Gabriel.
Before anyone knew what
was happening, the boy
was nowhere to be found.
Israel and others found
their way out of the
church but it did not take
long before their evil deed
became exposed. They
were picked one by one in
Finima. The leader, who
had gone as far as Akwa
Ibom State with the child,
was apprehended along
the way by the military
joint task force before any
ransom could be
collected.
This was how the Rivers
State Police Command
recently thwarted the
plans of a kidnap gang,
which thought it would
make cool millions from a
staff of LNG in Bonny,
Rivers State by
kidnapping his 3-year-old
son.
It was said that police
investigations revealed
that Israel and Ogechi (his
girlfriend) are the ones
who brought the idea of
kidnapping the son of the
LNG staff who attended
the same church with
them.
In his confession, 30-
year-old Israel said:
“On the day we carried
out the job, I was on the
choir stand and I attended
both first and second
services. I didn’t know
who actually brought the
child out but it was
Ogechi who described the
vehicle that the parents of
our target used to bring to
church. When they came,
I was the one who pointed
the vehicle to Godswill. I
was in my house when
police came to arrest me
later.”
OluFamous.Com gathered
that the boy's dad is now
confused if he should still
go to church with his
family.

How Iyanya Raked In N130million In Endorsement Deals

Pop singer Iyanya Mbuk
has amassed over N130
million in endorsements
deals in 2013 alone. Since
his highly successful 2012
monster hit single
Kukere’, it has been one
hit after another, one
award after another and
one endorsement contract
after another for the once
impoverished singer.
In the last one year and
half, Iyanya has proven
that he can be a hit
maker disappointing the
initial doubts that critics
had raised about him
when his 2009 debut
album ‘My Story’
flopped. Certainly, Iyanya
took the lesson of that
album and transformed
himself into one of the
most sought after
Nigerian artistes today
placing him on the
pedestal where corporate
organisations would jostle
to do business with him.
Three weeks ago, the
singer closed a deal
reportedly worth N35
million with mobile phone
manufacturing company,
SOLO Mobile. According
to his publicist, Wildflower
PR, the deal was iced with
a brand new 2014 Prado
SUV.
Earlier in May, the 27 year
old singer was lucky
enough to have been
included in MTN’s swoop
of some of the major
players in the music
industry, becoming one of
the company’s highest
paid brand ambassadors
in a N40 million deal.
It sure didn’t end there.
When Zinox Technologies
Limited, manufacturer of
Nigeria’s first
internationally certified
branded computers was
looking for a face to
represent its brand, guess
who quickly came to
mind? None other than the
rave of the moment,
Iyanya. The Leo Stan-
Ekeh owned tech-
company put pen to
paper, inked a deal and
made Iyanya N56milion
richer, according to those
familiar with the details of
the deal.
These endorsement deals
have gone on to show the
relevance Iyanya has in
today’s music scene.
Apart from the occasional
engagements, the pop star
will begin to appear on
billboards and TV
commercials preaching
the gospel of these
brands. From all
indications, Iyanya, a
Business Management
graduate of the University
of Calabar and winer of
the inaugural MTN Project
Fame West Africa, has
had quite an awesome
2013.
Speaking to NET, Iyanya’s
partner Ubi Franklin
attributes his success and
that of the label to God
and hardwork. ‘All thanks
and Glory to God because
we are actually living out
our dream. We are where
we are today because of
hardwork and passion for
what we do.’
On why Iyanya seems to
be a choice for these
brands, Franklin says ‘I
guess they all see the
potential in Iyanya. They
have seen that Iyanya as
a brand can do a lot to
promote their own brands.
He is one of the hardest
working artistes I know
and he has worked hard
to deserve everything he
has earned.’
In less than one year,
Iyanya has upgraded his
garage with about three
exotic cars. Franklin has
done the same too, and
three months ago, the
team acquired a jeep for
their artiste and protégé,
Nigerian US returnee and
singer, Emma Nyra.
The music business is
probably one of the most
interesting yet difficult
businesses in the world
and for Iyanya, it’s been
one great ride with the
prospect of many good
things to come.

128 Killed In Yobe Boko-Haram Attack

GORE gory details of last

fewer than 128 people
were killed, it was learnt.
Military and hospital

policemen and 95
insurgents were killed in
the five-hour long battle
between the Islamic

There has been no
specific figure given by

by surprise.
The attack came after a
lull and almost six
months after the federal
government imposed a
state of emergency in
Yobe along with Borno

Reporters saw that the
extremists set ablaze
four police command
posts and an army
barracks where they

international protection.
The Geneva-based

McNorton told reporters:
“Our recommendations
are contained in a newly
issued Return Advisory,
which seeks to ensure

asylum principles are
upheld in light of the
worsening security
situation in northeastern

UPDATE: Tinubu, Buhari, Atiku, Tambuwal Strike Deal With The G-7 Governors

Information reaching
Obascotec from
Sokoto State, venue of a
University commissioning
ceremony by Governor
Wamakko is that the
event has becoming the
biggest political gathering
in Nigeria this year, in
view of the much-
anticipated 2015 general
election.
From all indications, the
leadership of APC led by
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari,
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and
Chief Bisi Akande have
initiated a deal with
members of the new PDP
led By Atiku Abubakar,
Kawu Baraje and the state
governors in the factional
group.
Surprisingly, House of
Reps Speaker, Aminu
Tambuwal, is now playing
a role in the deal...
On Tuesday, the top
gladiators met in Sokoto
to review the victimization
of members of the New
PDP by the government of
President Goodluck
Jonathan and took far
reaching decisions.
Moving forward, the
leadership of the APC and
the new PDP are expected
to meet at a higher level
and get to compromise on
certain issues that will
enable them work
together, without any one
feeling inferior.
I hear some of the G-7
governors who are tired of
the old PDP are very
excited with the
development.

Jim Iyke is Responsible for My Pregnancy –– Lagos Babe Nancy

These are not the best of
times for actor James
Ikechukwu, aka Jim Iyke,
who is already preparing
to marry his sweetheart,
actress Nadia Buari. Jim
has been caught in the
middle of a pregnancy
scandal that is causing a
huge storm in his love
affair with Nadia and it
seems the young girl he
allegedly impregnated
also spent her father's
money on him,
obascotec
gathered.
The girl's name is Nancy
Alofinaka, she is the
daughter of a Lagos-
based business man...
She is said to be a
graduate of Mass
Communication from the
University of Calabar. Her
pregnancy became a
subject of controversial
recently and when he
father pressed her to tell
him who is responsible
she said she has been
having a secret affair with
Jim Iyke and that he's the
father of her unborn baby.
Nancy also alleged that
Jim Iyke collected about
N2million from her in the
guise that he needed
money to do some
renovation work in his
apartment in Lagos.
These allegations are so
weighty that
Obascotec has
contacted Jim Iyke and
we are waiting for him to
either deny or confirm
knowing this girl, Nancy.
We will bring you his
reaction.
I hear Nadia Buari is
already claiming that
Nancy was paid to
blackmail Jim Iyke. But
how true is her claim?

million in endorsements
deals in 2013 alone. Since
his highly successful 2012
monster hit single
Kukere’, it has been one
hit after another, one
award after another and
one endorsement contract
after another for the once
impoverished singer.
In the last one year and
half, Iyanya has proven
that he can be a hit
maker disappointing the
initial doubts that critics
had raised about him
when his 2009 debut
album ‘My Story’
flopped. Certainly, Iyanya
took the lesson of that
album and transformed
himself into one of the
most sought after
Nigerian artistes today
placing him on the
pedestal where corporate
organisations would jostle
to do business with him.
Three weeks ago, the
singer closed a deal
reportedly worth N35
million with mobile phone
manufacturing company,
SOLO Mobile. According
to his publicist, Wildflower
PR, the deal was iced with
a brand new 2014 Prado
SUV.
Earlier in May, the 27 year
old singer was lucky
enough to have been
included in MTN’s swoop
of some of the major
players in the music
industry, becoming one of
the company’s highest
paid brand ambassadors
in a N40 million deal.
It sure didn’t end there.
When Zinox Technologies
Limited, manufacturer of
Nigeria’s first
internationally certified
branded computers was
looking for a face to
represent its brand, guess
who quickly came to
mind? None other than the
rave of the moment,
Iyanya. The Leo Stan-
Ekeh owned tech-
company put pen to
paper, inked a deal and
made Iyanya N56milion
richer, according to those
familiar with the details of
the deal.
These endorsement deals
have gone on to show the
relevance Iyanya has in
today’s music scene.
Apart from the occasional
engagements, the pop star
will begin to appear on
billboards and TV
commercials preaching
the gospel of these
brands. From all
indications, Iyanya, a
Business Management
graduate of the University
of Calabar and winer of
the inaugural MTN Project
Fame West Africa, has
had quite an awesome
2013.
Speaking to NET, Iyanya’s
partner Ubi Franklin
attributes his success and
that of the label to God
and hardwork. ‘All thanks
and Glory to God because
we are actually living out
our dream. We are where
we are today because of
hardwork and passion for
what we do.’
On why Iyanya seems to
be a choice for these
brands, Franklin says ‘I
guess they all see the
potential in Iyanya. They
have seen that Iyanya as
a brand can do a lot to
promote their own brands.
He is one of the hardest
working artistes I know
and he has worked hard
to deserve everything he
has earned.’
In less than one year,
Iyanya has upgraded his
garage with about three
exotic cars. Franklin has
done the same too, and
three months ago, the
team acquired a jeep for
their artiste and protégé,
Nigerian US returnee and
singer, Emma Nyra.
The music business is
probably one of the most
interesting yet difficult
businesses in the world
and for Iyanya, it’s been
one great ride with the
prospect of many good
things to come.

128 Killed In Yobe Boko-Haram Attack

GORE gory details of last
week’s Boko Haram
attacks on Damaturu,
the Yobe State capital,
emerged yesterday. No
fewer than 128 people
were killed, it was learnt.
Military and hospital
reports indicated to
Associated Press (AP)
that 23 soldiers, eight
policemen and 95
insurgents were killed in
the five-hour long battle
between the Islamic
extremists and troops.
There has been no
specific figure given by
the military on the
casualty , but the latest
findings showed that the
militants had a strong
hand and caught troops
by surprise.
The attack came after a
lull and almost six
months after the federal
government imposed a
state of emergency in
Yobe along with Borno
and Adamawa states.
Reporters saw that the
extremists set ablaze
four police command
posts and an army
barracks where they
looted vehicles and
weapons.
Police and witnesses
said at least two
civilians died — a man
believed killed by the
insurgents and a civil
servant shot by soldiers
for breaking the curfew.
Also yesterday, the
United Nations High
Commissioner for
Refugees UNHCR) urged
neigbouring countries to
keep their borders open
for Nigerians fleeing the
escalating violence and
who may be in need of
international protection.
The Geneva-based
agency also advised
states against forced
return of people to the
region.
Spokesperson Dan
McNorton told reporters:
“Our recommendations
are contained in a newly
issued Return Advisory,
which seeks to ensure
that humanitarian and
asylum principles are
upheld in light of the
worsening security
situation in northeastern
Nigeria.”

UPDATE: Tinubu, Buhari, Atiku, Tambuwal Strike Deal With The G-7 Governors

Information reaching
Obascotec from
Sokoto State, venue of a
University commissioning
ceremony by Governor
Wamakko is that the
event has becoming the
biggest political gathering
in Nigeria this year, in
view of the much-
anticipated 2015 general
election.
From all indications, the
leadership of APC led by
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari,
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and
Chief Bisi Akande have
initiated a deal with
members of the new PDP
led By Atiku Abubakar,
Kawu Baraje and the state
governors in the factional
group.
Surprisingly, House of
Reps Speaker, Aminu
Tambuwal, is now playing
a role in the deal...
On Tuesday, the top
gladiators met in Sokoto
to review the victimization
of members of the New
PDP by the government of
President Goodluck
Jonathan and took far
reaching decisions.
Moving forward, the
leadership of the APC and
the new PDP are expected
to meet at a higher level
and get to compromise on
certain issues that will
enable them work
together, without any one
feeling inferior.
I hear some of the G-7
governors who are tired of
the old PDP are very
excited with the
development.

Jim Iyke is Responsible for My Pregnancy –– Lagos Babe Nancy

These are not the best of
times for actor James
Ikechukwu, aka Jim Iyke,
who is already preparing
to marry his sweetheart,
actress Nadia Buari. Jim
has been caught in the
middle of a pregnancy
scandal that is causing a
huge storm in his love
affair with Nadia and it
seems the young girl he
allegedly impregnated
also spent her father's
money on him,
obascotec
gathered.
The girl's name is Nancy
Alofinaka, she is the
daughter of a Lagos-
based business man...
She is said to be a
graduate of Mass
Communication from the
University of Calabar. Her
pregnancy became a
subject of controversial
recently and when he
father pressed her to tell
him who is responsible
she said she has been
having a secret affair with
Jim Iyke and that he's the
father of her unborn baby.
Nancy also alleged that
Jim Iyke collected about
N2million from her in the
guise that he needed
money to do some
renovation work in his
apartment in Lagos.
These allegations are so
weighty that
Obascotec has
contacted Jim Iyke and
we are waiting for him to
either deny or confirm
knowing this girl, Nancy.
We will bring you his
reaction.
I hear Nadia Buari is
already claiming that
Nancy was paid to
blackmail Jim Iyke. But
how true is her claim?
